Just to prove that Essex isn’t all fake tan and high heels (!), it actually has some stunning rural and waterside locations too! Today we spent some time on a river boat cruise. Departing from Maldon’s Promenade Park, (only 20mins drive from our home) it takes in some spectacular views along the Estuary. And for once the sun was shining too!
We’re considering hiring a historical Thames barge as part of our nuptuals. So we thought we’d check out the kind of views our guests could expect. Elliott was definately sold on the idea after today!
